enjoy.

    enjoy.

two years ago (two years already?) i shared with you all the letter-writing regimen of my grade school years. this structured routine included quite detailed record keeping, & with the fairly frequent correspondence of late, i’ve been wanting to design the very notebook i would have torn right through as a 12-year-old.
& so i present… the letter ledger. as equally alliterative & sized as the perpetual planner.
it’s a limited quantity experiment for the time being. i’m intensely curious to see if there is anyone else out there who is as meticulous as my 5th grade self. kindly (i said kindly) let me know if that person is you (or someone you know).

the second collaborative calendar of le petit elefant + paper & type is now available for peeking, posting, purchasing, presenting!
2012 is inspired by the thoughtfulness and charm of sending (and receiving!) correspondence and packages by post (& then some). as with our previous collaboration, this calendar features artwork to keep &/or share – simply tear at the perforated line (see photo below). it’s now available at the shop.
on that note, paper & type will be present at a few fairs this holiday. come visit! i’d love to meet & talk paper with you (topics of your choice are welcome too, of course)…

for your lovely mother on a lovely day.
…
this new card from {paper & type}’s upcoming flower series, no. 2 is available for purchase — along with a pretty envelope — the usual way on etsy, but it’s also available as a free download for my followers (i’ll leave you to find or make your own envelope!). reply via tumblr, or write me at hello@paperandtype.com, with subject line ‘mama’, & a note about anything*, really. i’ll send you off with a handy PDF to print at your own convenience (such as the hour before you head to brunch).
*should you require a prompt, might i suggest the following?:a snippet about you. a blog or website you’d like to recommend me, or a book, or film. a favorite P&T item or post. what you like most about your mother. sunday traditions. what you look forward to or have loved about spring. how your garden grows. best album (so far) this year…
…
in other news, for the next few weeks you can find {paper & type} at poppytalk handmade, an online market of curated handmade goods. stop by my table to say hello, & keep an eye out as new paper goods make their debut this may.
